About the Founder
Vivek Gupta brings four decades of executive leadership experience in the global IT industry. As the former President, CEO, and Board Member of a publicly listed company for nine years, he led Mastech Digital’s transformation from a pure-play IT staffing firm into a recognized digital transformation services enterprise, earning acclaim across the consulting and IT services sectors. Prior to that, Vivek served as Chief Operating Officer of Zensar Technologies, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth over a 31-year tenure.
In the past decade, Vivek has been named six times to the list of the "100 Most Influential Leaders in the Staffing Industry" by Staffing Industry Analysts. From 2018 to 2022, he was also recognized five years in a row as one of Pittsburgh’s “Smart 50” CEOs, an honor that reflects his ability to build and lead high-performing organizations.
Known for his sound judgment, global perspective, and boardroom presence, Vivek now advises a select group of clients through Nexrai. He offers the advantage of experience earned, not borrowed, drawing on insights forged through years of executive leadership at the highest levels.
